First, I'll continue to pursue publishing poems or small groups of them in journals and magazines. Some of the first
ones I submitted to haven't even responded, though I now understand those are likely to be rejections. Some more recent
ones are possibly more promising, and some of my best work hasn't even been submitted yet. It seems reasonable to give
this avenue at least till June, which will be a year from when the attempt started.
Meanwhile, chapbooks look promising. I've only started to learn about these. Since dozens of my sonnets are already in
thematically linked sequences, they seem well fit for the purpose. Likewise, some sestinas that go with these seem well
adapted.
Long term, self publication, with or without the other, is a definite option. Classwords.com could easily become an interactive
site for people working on or even wanting to publish poetry here. For years, it did at least that much with with hundreds
of students, who could all log in and submit individually and comment on each other. There's a lot of other information
about this sites' capabilities through the menu above. It coule easily become Poetry Social. Hopefully,
Trump would hate it. Sorry; couldn't resist that.
Hyper-text poetry with interlocking hyper-links looks like an area that hasn't been explored much yet!
Fireflies are also nice.
