Family Guy -- Appropriate or not???
The show Family Guy is a show that gives controversy about certain topics of life. Some people think that the comments and sights are rude and hurtful. They may think it is racist or sexist, while others think it is funny and can actually learn things not to do. I am on the side that can laugh about the events in the episode.
I think that the episode “wasted talent” is not offensive because it shows things you should and shouldn’t do. Like, Lois shows that she was wrong for keeping Peter drunk just to use him for his piano skills when he was drunk. Lois learns a valuable lesson when she wins that is just doesn’t feel right. It also shows how, when people want something so bad they will do almost anything for it.
The show isn’t sexist or racist because they make fun of virtually every person and every age and every race. No one should be offended when like them is getting made fun of or hurt because later they will be laughing about something that happened to someone else. Everyone thinks that at lease one part in the show is funny.
The main reason why people don’t like it because they take it too seriously and are not mature enough to realize that it is just a cartoon and meant to entertain people when you want to relax and have a good time. Family Guy should be allowed in school because I think that everyone can relate and learn from the Griffin’s mistakes.

Comments
Joe takes a reasonable position and raises some good points. He also has some problems with syntax and proof reading, but not to the point that it's unreadable. More on this later.
