Dear Pat Hunter-Pirtle,
I think that you made a bad decision. Keeping us in the gate is like keeping cows in a fenced field. Being one of the students that is being held behind that big iron gate, does not understand why it had to come to this. If it was the trash by the office, that was making the teachers mad, I would have been willing to help clean up after lunch to keep up with the reckless teenagers. If everyone picks up one piece of trash then it won’t be as bad. Or maybe the student council could help out, it is at our school, shouldn’t they be interested in what happens. They are the group that is looking for a difference. I just think you should take in consideration what the students here might feel better about. Thanks for listening.
