Eng. 10 & Comp. Topic
Gifts. Gifts, getting and giving. Now that we are into seasonal shopping, I hear repeated talk about this. What is the most important gift you hope to receive? What gift(s) do you hope not to receive? What is the most important gift you hope to give? Who is the hardest person to shop for? What are your family or cultural practices related to gift exchange? What do you feel about cash or gift certificates as gifts? Is capitalism the most important aspect of the Christmas holiday. On any of the preceding, if Christmas is not important in your culture, use some other occassion of gift giving.
