“10 key steps to a successful relationship.”
1. Spend time together
2. Go out, every once in awhile, make each other feel like royality
3. Before you two go your own ways in the morning, take a 10 second kiss.
4. Make every time silly and special when you can be alone
5. Make each other your top priority and you will see your relationship bloom.
6. Be honest to one another
7. Do stuff out of your way to help out, the one you love.
8. Pray with each other when in troubles, or even to celebrate praises. The family that prays together stays together.
9. Go to church together, that is what brings God in to the picture and helps you with your Relationship issues
10. Never get a divorce, if you get married, you can always work it out. You can never fail when you have God on your side!

You are a bad writer, and I think that this is a stupid thing for high school kids to be writing about, you know nothing about what a real relationship is, and it is pretty obvious by what you wrote. Oh, and the God crap is pretty annoying also.

When comments are open to the public, you're going to get some comments like the previous. In fact, probably mostly comments along those lines. Note that there is criticism of the teacher (for assigning the stupid topic) as well as the student. I can take it if you can. If it makes you feel any better, the comment actually came from someone in the class (I am given the IP address where comments come from) who didn't have the guts to give their name, and probably thought they were being cute. I hope Doesn't Matter will grace us with a return comment giving us a good definition of what good writing is (obviously, if there own writing is a model it has nothing to do with correct punctuation) and a better topic to write about.
Anyway, except for the last three items on your list, I realized I practice these recommendations almost to perfection -- with my dog -- and our relationship is going strong. We've only been together for a year, though.
