Family Guy is a show that generates a lot of controversy. Yet, in my personal opinion, this show is just fine to watch at a 10th grade level. This show along with others are aired on TV suitable for kids 13 and up. I mean, come on, 10 year old kids or younger get into movies rated R as long as they are with a parent. How can a cartoon be degrading to mature individuals? A show such as this should be watched by people with mature minds and that are able to take all manners of jokes. If you can’t meet this, and still watch it, its your own fault. You watched it on your disgression. Watching a show is a choice you make, so if you make the wrong choice, don’t bitch. This cartoon or show is appropriate at our age. The jokes are harmless and are meant to be funny. The show makes jokes about both genders, so I don’t really see why it’s a big deal if a joke about women is made, when jokes about guys happen all the time. If someone is offended, then they shouldn’t watch it again. Problem solved.

24Family Guy -- Appropriate or not???
The show Family Guy is a show that gives controversy about certain topics of life. Some people think that the comments and sights are rude and hurtful. They may think it is racist or sexist, while others think it is funny and can actually learn things not to do. I am on the side that can laugh about the events in the episode.
