Persuasive Paper
I believe in the episode of Family Guy called “Wasted Time” is acceptable to show in school. I feel the content is not bad. I think some of the books that we read in school are worse then that. I think some of the language in those books can offend someone much more than a frickin gynacologist. I feel a gynacologist is no worse then a guy getting a physical by a doctor. I don’t that that its very offensive. I think that it should be ok to watch and I think if someone has a problem with it then they should do an alternate assignment and not complain about it and ruin it for everyone else. I think no episode we have watched has offended anyone, or at least not that has been brought up. I think if a tv show offends you that you need to obviously lighten up a lot because its nothing more than humor and something to get a laugh out of, its not a serious matter or anything. Family Guy also does not pick one single group and totally make fun of that one group of people, Family Guy makes jokes about every kind of person and everything so I don’t think it would be fair to say family guy is racist or anything like that.
